Freedom vs Bondage

In her Weekly Blessings, my dear friend Heather Fraser helps us awakening to our true Self. This week, as you read her Blessing, I encourage you to stay open and feel this wonderful energy of Freedom!

At the deepest core of our Being, our most natural state is one of openness...of "Yes!"  This natural state of our Being is exuberance and enthusiasm.  It is inclusive of All.  It is joy personified.  Nature is a perfect example.

Our most un-natural state is resistance which always says "No!"  It's very nature brings conflict, struggle, and impoverishment.  It opposes everything.  It is suffering personified.

These states represent freedom or bondage, and both originate in the mind of free will and choice. 

Freedom can only be freedom if we get to choose it.  We can only make the choice for it by experiencing bondage.

When we've had enough of suffering, we will wake up and say "Yes!" to Life.

This week, as I am blessed, I become aware of what goes on in my mind.  Am I thinking freedom or bondage?  It's my choice.
